Althea let Raina drag her out of their cottage and into the scorching sun without much resistance. Raina was adamant on finding out what was going on, maybe she saw it as an opportunity to fulfill her childhood dream of becoming a detective. Althea was not surprised when she set out to interrogate the poor villagers, but she wanted to stay out of it.
Raina being herself didn't let her though, she wanted the person who witnessed the weird incidents to be there while she set out in the journey to unveil the murder case, as she put it.
"Even if they do know something, I don't think they will want to say anything about it." Althea tried to convince her friend, she didn't like it how much she was getting involved in her problem. Her previous concerns for Raina had intensified by a thousand.
