Her Possessive Mate (completed)

Chapter - 1

Delilah's pov

"Lilah come on wake up, otherwise you will be late for the training ." Mom screamed from downstairs.

" Yes, mom I'm up, no need to scream. " I said while my eyes were still closed.

I woke up with great difficulties. Rubbing my eyes to get rid of the remaining sleep. 

Today is Monday and I have to go for training. Yay! I love training.

(note the sarcasm please) 

Ughh! I groaned. 

Oh sorry, I didn't give my introduction silly me. 

Hi, I'm Delilah. Everyone calls me Lilah. I'm 19 years old and I am a werewolf. Shh, don't tell this to anyone, it's a secret.

So where I was? ya, I'm Alpha's daughter. My dad is the alpha of the Silver Moon pack. I also have an elder brother, his name is Devon who is the next Alpha after my dad. My parents and brother love me very much. 

But I'm still mateless. Yes I know I should find him on my 16th birthday when I first shifted. But I didn't. He isn't from my pack nor our allies. Then where is he? 

My wolf lily is upset because of it. But I soothe her that we will find him soon. 

My brother has found his mate who is my best friend Katherine. 

They found each other when Kat shifted three years ago. 

So back to my boring life. I have to go now, other than my mom will come here to hunt me. And believe me, my angry mom is not a good scenery to see. We don't live in the packhouse. We have a separated house. 

I went into the bathroom and did my daily routine. After that, I went to my walk-in closet and wore a pink tank top with white yoga pants. I put my blonde hair in a high ponytail. I didn't bother to put on any makeup because in the end it all will be wrecked.

After I'm done with my look, I go downstairs and greet my family "good morning. "

I sat beside Kat who is basically crouching on my brother's lap and who is kissing her in front of me. My mom is in the kitchen and my dad is already gone. 

"Jeez, will you stop sucking each other's face when I'm here? Won't you get enough in your room? And don't you have to go to training?" I asked, dwindling my eyes on the kissing pair.

They broke the kiss hearing my voice. At least they did. 

"I don't get enough of my mate. You will understand when you find your own," Devon said.

But his face changed as he realised what he had said. All know how sensitive I'm about this topic. Kat is glaring at him. 

"I'm sorry Lilah, I didn't mean it, you will find him soon," Devon said.

"Babe doesn't give him any significance. He is a dumbhead, God knows how he will maintain the pack," Kat said, still glaring at Devon.

"it's ok kat, i didn't mind it. I know, my brother is an i***t," Said I. 

"Hey, both of you, I'm not an i***t. I'm your soon to be Alpha, so give me respect," Devon said and we roll our eyes on him 

"And I'm your luna if you have forgotten and she is your sister so we don't give a s**t that you're the next Alpha, " Kat said I laughed at him.

Mom came with pancakes and lots of Chocolate syrup on it. Delicious.

"Good morning mom, thanks for making my favourite breakfast. I need it to endure the torture that we call training," I said dramatically.

"Oh, honey you're overreacting. It's not that bad though. You have alpha blood inside you. You can do better than that," My mom said 

"yea mom, only she is your daughter and I'm nobody right?" Devon whimpered.  

"such a cry baby you're, mom loves me because I'm the younger one. You're already 24, for heaven's sake and I'm only 19," I said and showed my tongue to him.

So Mature behaviour I know. 

"You both are kids, God knows what I'm gonna do with you big kids," Mom said while we both were occupied making faces to annoy each other.

"I'm done with my breakfast. I'm going for training. Won't you both come?" I asked them once I'm done. Mom has gone again in the kitchen.

"Yes, Kat will come, but I have some work. I will come after doing it," Devon said and I know by his tone that again he is threatening our pack. 

This Alpha is a pain in the ass. He has been urging our pack for a long time. He only wants power and his first target is our pack because we are a small pack and that's why we need everyone to be trained with the pups and women's as well. 

"is it about him?" I asked him, I know he doesn't need to think twice about who the hell is he?

"yup, how do you know?" he asked and I flattened my eyes.

"isn't that obvious? Who will be the reason for my happy and jolly brother's soberness?" I asked him.

"You understand me sufficiently, more than my mate does," Devon said and I looked at kat.

I thought maybe she would be jealous or at least offended but she was smiling. She is the perfect best friend and luna. And of course, a perfect mate that anyone can get. 

She is beautiful inside out. She also has blonde hair with baby blue eyes whereas I have bright green eyes. We both have fair skin tone and Devon has a little tan skin with Hazel eyes. He has got this feature from our father. 

Though Kat and I are only friends and she is my luna but we look like sisters by our behaviour and looks. 

"so what about him?" I asked again 

"nothing he and his usual threats. People are gossiping that he didn't find his Mate, that's why he is on this mission to gather power. one time, he finds her mate and then he will be calm. After all, he is the alpha one of the strongest packs," Devon said and I nodded. 

"I love you, Kat," I blurted out looking at Kat before I could stop myself.

"I love you too. And I know why you said it because I'm not offended byg what Devon said. I know you better than you know yourself , girl. Now let's go as we are already late. Alpha Daniel will kill us for this," Kat said and pulled me with her. And Devon looked at us like we were strange. Well, we are.
