Her Possessive Mate (completed)

Chapter - 4

Delilah's pov 

Once dad came back from the hospital I went to him and showed him the note. It's really ridiculous that the alpha's daughter is not safe in her own home then what about the others? 

"Lilah I think you should change your room, for now I only can do this. After Devon's alpha ceremony I will announce it in the pack that someone is behind you and you are not safe and it's their duty to ensure your security," dad said 

"fine but I don't know what to do with it. It's like he is watching me. Is he from our pack? Has anyone's mate died recently or been killed?" I asked 

"no, no one's mate has died but yes one young girl has died but its in an attack that blue moon did," dad said 

"Dad, I think not the blue moon is the reason for this entire drama, I think that creep has some motive behind it. He has clearly said that he has killed his Mate for me. Can a wolf be able to do it? Killing his or her own mate?" I asked him 

"I don't know its impossible if the wolf isn't under any spell or he has drank some potion to break the mate bond," dad explained to me 

"Why is my life so complicated? I only wanted to live my life with my mate, did I ask for a lot?" I asked my eyes are filled with tears 

"no my baby you didn't. But sometimes it's not in our hands. Don't worry and why don't you ask Crystal to move with you? She has returned from her aunts pack," dad asked

"I was also thinking the same I will ask her tomorrow, good night dad I'm too tired mentally because of this s**t," I said and left his office. 

"Devon, can you please do me a favour?" I mind linked him 

"yes, what do you want?" he replied 

"Can I take Kat with me tonight? I'm scared shitlees, that creep is crossing the limits now," I said 

"don't worry I will send her to your room now, don't be scared you're my brave sister," he said and cut the link 

True to his words I found kat in my room looking confused. 

"How the hell did this miracle happen? Your brother my mate left me and ask me to sleep with you tonight," She asked 

"Nothing babe I wanted to sleep with you. I was feeling lonely so I asked him and he fulfilled my wish. I will ask Crystal to shift with me tomorrow. Nowadays I'm feeling like I should not be here lonely," I lied to her 

"OK then sleep I'm also tired. We have only tomorrow to do the rest of arrangements," kat said and I nod 

Soon we both drifted to sleep. But I got some horrible nightmares because of those chits. 

Next morning was chaotic, I woke up earlier than normal and started doing my work. I decided on the decoration and colour combination. Food and dress code. The decorations are the most difficult because I have to consider both of their wishes in it. 

I did as much as I could. I also asked Crystal to shift with me and she happily agreed much to my relief. 

Once I'm done with the decorations I check the other things. And surprisingly dad is not inviting the other packs, maybe no one will come here because of the danger lurking around us. I hope they will not create a drama or anything in the alpha ceremony. 

Lily is awfully quiet for some reason. I didn't bother to ask either. She will talk to me if she wants to. The rest of the day passed with arranging my room with Crystal's things. Once we are done I'm dead tired and only want to sleep nothing else. Devon and Kat like the arrangements I did. I'm glad they did. 

The next day I woke up with an energetic mood. I'm really excited for the ceremony and I wanted to know the reaction from the pack on the arrangements as well. 

With Crystal I'm not feeling like someone is watching me. And I'm glad for it. 

The day passed in re-checking everything. In the evening me and Crystal help Kat to get ready and she is looking beautiful. Mom has given her the Luna pendant. That my grandma gave her at her Luna ceremony. It's a pendant that every pack has its own. It belongs to the luna only. 

And it's going well with her dress as well. After we are done. We both also go and dress up. We'll my dress is not too fancy. It's a normal mermaid style gown. I left my hairs open after straightening them. And apply a little amount of makeup. It's not like I'm going to find my mate so why waste my time and energy here? But with Crystal the scene is different. She has worn a short dress that has reached her knees. She curled her red hair and did a lot of makeup. In the end she is looking gorgeous. 

We all went downstairs and saw that the pack members had gathered and they were praising me for the arrangements. I felt happy to hear it. Lily still hasn't talked to me. Only the moon goddess knows why. 

The alpha ceremony started and my mom and dad gave their title to Devon and Kat. All were enjoying the party but suddenly someone informed us that the blue moon pack had attacked us. Dad and Devon asked me to go and hide but I denied it. Me, Kat and Crystal are ready for the attack. Soon a group of wolves came inside. They started attacking us. I tried to shift but before I could I'm pinned by a large wolf. So Kat and Crystal. Dad and Devon are fighting. I tried to fight with the wolf but couldn't. Soon dad and Devon are alsoh pinned by them. They all stopped when we heard two growls. And the most delicious smell hit my nose. Strawberry and rain with lime. 

Two men came in front of us and growled in unison "Mine" 

Well looks like I found my mate.
