“I will go to sleep, sweetie, but you just stay and finish your dinner.” Mom said after she let out a yawn. She looked very tired and she didn’t even finish her food, but I could see that she couldn’t stay awake any longer. I felt sorry for her and I couldn’t wait to be able to go to work and help her with our bills.
“Alright, mom. Good night.” I told her when she pressed a kiss onto my forehead.
“Good night, sweetie.” He said and put her plate into the sink.
“I will do the dishes when I am done. Don’t worry about it.” I told her with a smile and she nodded her head.
“Alright. Thank you. Sleep well.” She said and went into her room. I finished my dinner, washed the dishes and tidied up a bit before going to the bathroom to wash my face and hands.
