Penelope was a sobbing, mewling mess by the time Sebastian reached their brownstone packhouse. A few times, she thought that Tobias would catch up to them because of how awful the traffic was in the city, but every time he got close they started moving again. Bastian had barely gotten her into the packhouse before the knocking, then banging, started. Was her mate throwing himself against the door?
