Ch 6
Xander Harrington POV
●●●
I almost smash my head against the front board as Ramsey pulls over
“What the f**k, Rami?”
I chuckle, as I rub my eyes.
My head aching like hell.
And spinning around, hard to let them open.
“Sorry sir”
He apologizes immediately, and I open my eyes,
“Where are we, Rami?”
I ask as I notice the familiar building!
“It's Monday morning, sir.
You have an appointment with your therapist today”
He states.
And I yawn.
Boring is the first word that comes to my mind, hearing therapy.
“How long did I party last night?
Fuck, my head is bursting out, Rami.
Why would you let me party this bad, dude?
You're my all-in-one dude.
My secretary, driver, and everything!
Except the main part.
Anyway, wait a minute.
This dude thing is fun.
Makes me feel young.
Doesn't it?”
I question him, as I unbutton the top of my white shirt.
Just still hanging with the last night's party mood.
“You looked very busy with the women you were dancing, sir.
Didn't want to spoil the fun night for you.
And yes, it does give a cool vibe.
But you are already cool and young sir”
He gives me an apologetic look and a compliment in the end, and I pat his shoulder as I get down.
I have trained this little boy well
And he gets down before I could, running around to open the door for me.
Bringing me my sunglasses, knowing
I hate the sun, especially when I am just opening my eyes.
Which happens all the time.
I'm one f*****g bastard who never stops partying.
Even though that should be the last thing to do.
“Before I let you go, sir.
I wanted to inform you that in three hours you have to attend the bid.
If we win, then we will take over the construction building of the new hotel chain the Malik's want to start.
I heard all the big names to be present today.
So, it is very important”
He informs, always on point.
Not scribbling around.
He is my go-to man.
But not today.
“In three hours?
Oh no.
Why does Mondays suck?”
I groan, as I run my hands down my pockets searching for my cigar.
“Right.
I totally feel the same.
They should declare Monday as a holiday too.
Totally”
Rami adds up, making me chuckle.
“As your boss, I wouldn't.
Go ahead, show up at the bid.
Tell them Harrington will be there.
And I'm sure they will know what to do next”
I inform him, as I finally get my hands out empty
Frustrated.
“Where is my cigar?”
I growl out, as I look around the traffic around us
The car honks.
And the people rushing In and out!
Few stares at our side.
“You have stopped smoking three weeks ago, sir.
And I'll leave immediately for the bid”
He mentions, as he dials some numbers!
“I can call Tyga to pick you up, when you're done.
And I have already arranged for your breakfast.
Where would you like to have it?”
He questions.
Again on point.
And I just stretch my arms.
“Say Tyga to go f**k his fiancé.
I'll take a cab.
Fuck, maybe I don't know.
And breakfast?
Oh boy, arrange it, my penthouse.
I need a shower.
I'm not showing up to the bid looking like this.
Like a piece of s**t.
Also Rami, should I shave, or the beard looks good?”
I mention at my alcohol spilled tuxedo and stubble!
“Huh, I don't think you will have that much of time, sir.
I'm afraid that you will run late.
And talking about your looks.
Your game A, sir.”
He states, like it's a possibility.
“I know.
But you know something, Rami.
They don't care what time I show up and how many billions I bid for them.
Nobody will remember those s**t.
But you know what they will remember?”
I ask him, as I straighten my shoulders.
Ready to start the day.
“No, sir” He answers
“How I looked.
What I wore.
How costly my watch was.
Which designer did my outfit?
And mainly, how f*****g powerful.
How rich I look.
Mainly me,
They will remember my name.
So, the impression I stamp should be the one that will engrave in their minds”
I give him a smirk, as I head straight to the office.
Ready to kick this Monday going, even though the thought of it makes me angry.
But angry is the reason I'm heading to therapy.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
“There you go.
A glass of water for the billionaire”
Debra smiles before she takes her seat.
And I cross my leg.
“Huh, don't be silly.
My aim is not be a billionaire”
I smile at her.
“Then what you want to be?” She asks, pulling her notepad to start the session!
“Powerful”
She lifts her eyes, as she hears my answer.
“Pink tux?”
She questions, noticing my last night attire.
And I flex my muscles, showing off the smooth velvet tux.
One of my favorite.
But it's sad that I will not wear it again.
“It's so cool right
Pink is my color”
I wink at her, as my thumb brushes my beard.
“I like how confident you are always”
She comments before crossing her arm.
“Heavy party last night?”
“You bet”
I smile, as I answer her question.
“Looks like you didn't blink a sleep”
She comments, her eyes staring at me.
And I give her a small grin!
“So tell me something, Xander.
Let's start with the party.
How did it go?”
She questions, looking down at her notes.
“Great.
And I have a question for you”
I ask before leaning forward!
“What will that be?” She asks back instantly.
“Do you believe In love at first sight?”
She looks taken back, hearing me.
And clears her throat, giving it a thought!
“Huh.
No.
There is no such thing as love at first sight.
Maybe attraction, lust?
Yes.
But not love”
She answers, unsure.
And I nod.
“Why would you ask me that?”
She questions, confused.
And I look back to the previous night.
The little thief.
But not saying anything.
“I met a girl.
And you know something ?
she stole my bracelet.
She was so tiny.
Her heels were too long.
And without them, she wouldn't even have made it till my chest, I guess.
Oh ,yeah.
Her waist was so small.
She looked way younger than me.
And I couldn't stop thinking about her.
You know ,even when someone else gave me a f*****g blow job inside my car.
All I imagined about was that little thief”
The last line makes my voice go from sexy to funny.
“Looks like you have found a new interest.
Which happens to you every single night.
Tell me, last week how many women you slept with?”
She questions, writing something down.
And I shrug.
“Chill Debra.
I don't sleep with all the girls I hook up with.
See, that's the thing.
Something is lacking in all those women, which was in her.
Her name was Madeline.
She had that draw.
Do you understand what I am talking?
Like, I have hooked up with so many girls last week.
But I didn't f**k any.
It was just to get off,
get the release from my body.
And I left them behind without touching their cunts.
But last night, I wanted to f**k every inch of her.
Like, I don't know, she felt like a toy I wanted to play with.
No offense to anyone.
I don't want to sound cheap. I love you guys.
But I'm just trying to talk about my honest feelings”
I throw my hands, as I get on my step.
Walking over to the window.
Opening the glasses,
Wanting to feel some sun shine hit me.
