Marissa glared at the newer associate and corrected the misunderstanding. “It’s Judge Furman’s Motion Day. She doesn’t have trials on Fridays. She spends the entire day addressing motions and other legal issues in other cases she’s assigned because she’s unable to address these issues earlier in the week because she’s in trial.
