The attorneys headed back to their respective tables. “We are now going to do voir dire. It’s a fancy word, I know, but it’s one of the few legal phrases not in Latin. It’s Anglo-Norman for the phrase ‘to tell the truth.’ This is when the attorneys decide which of you in the jury pool will sit as jurors in this case.
