I stared at my phone after she ended the call. I tap it to my palm as I tilt my head, contemplating what should I do next.
I called her to talk about the upcoming press conference that we will set. I was about to ask her what’s her preferred day, yet, she answered the phone in an annoyed tone.
I typed a message to my phone and sent it to her. She signed the contract. She took the risk by allowing herself to be with me, and I took the risk to introduce the real me.
