Dinner
Ari’s POV
“Let’s go?” Hyko asks.
I turn to face him while biting my lower lip. We just arrived at their mansion. Our own house is already huge but theirs are enormous in size. I wonder if I can memorize this in a day. I bet not.
My heart is thumping from the moment I step my foot inside the car. Throughout the drive on the way here, I kept telling Hyko it isn’t necessary.
“I thought it was your pleasure to meet my parents. You were pretty confident earlier,” he smirks.
“W-Well… I a-am not that p-prepared. You just tell me today!” I hiss.
I only met the Frantz during social gatherings. We don’t have much interaction since it is always my mom who wants to interact with them. My younger self puts having a connection with them as the least priority.
