Ours to Love

Chapter 3

Aspen Ford:-

" Thanks, dad. I really had fun today." I said kissing my dad's cheek while walking inside the company "Brookes&Ford Law firm and Company". My dad smiled and kissed the back of my hand.

" I am glad, my beautiful daughter enjoyed it." dad said " but remember you will only car race when I am sitting beside you in the car. Okay?" dad asked.

" I promise, dad. I love you." I said hugging him.

" Love you too, princess. Now,  you go to your mom while I will go and see what my sons are doing in the marketing and sale department. Did I make the right decision of making both of them the head of sales and marketing department?" dad asked.

" Yes, you made the perfect decision dad. You know how sharp their minds are when it comes to business and even they become repsonible that time." I replied and dad chuckled.

" Now, go. And remember not to tell your mom where were we. Okay?" dad asked, " you know she will make me sleep on the living room couch again with no s*x for the night."

" Eewww! Dad! TMI," I said making a disgusting face while dad laughed and walked away. I chuckled and started to walk towards the law department of the building when I bumped into someone.

" Lost in thoughts, baby chipmunk?" I raised my head to find Uncle Liam standing with the biggest smile on his face.

" Uncle Liam!" I squealed and jumped on him. He caught me in his arm like he always uses to do when I was a baby and hugged me tightly.

" Good morning or should I say Good Afternoon, my favorite niece." Uncle Liam said placing me back on my feet and ruffled my hairs.

" I'm your only niece, Uncle Liam," I said with a giggle " so where is the best friend of mine?" I ask referring to Uncle Liam's daughter and my cousin who also happens to be my one and only best friend.

" Trish has gone to the courtroom for the case she is handling recently." Uncle Liam said looking at his watch " Speaking of which. I also need to head to the courtroom.  I need to meet the judge."

" Okay, will talk to you later," I said kissing his cheek and began to take steps towards my mom's office. When I reached there I knocked at her office door and entered to find her talking to her client on the phone regarding the case she is handling. When she looked at me she smiled and mouthed me to sit while pointing on the chair. I smiled and sat down placing the files on the desk. I need some legal advice from mom regarding the case she has passed me to look after and to ask for her help for one important matter which always becomes too much sensitive when my dad and the twins came to know about it.

" Oh, Aspen sweetie. You are here." mom said after ending the call and taking the seat behind her desk " Why did you get late?" mom asked.

"Mom, I went for breakfast at my favorite cafe with dad," I replied confidently because my mom is a lawyer and always finds out the truth when she finds me nervous.

" Okay, so how was your car racing?" mom asked.

" Goo.....Wait what?" I asked shocked " How do you know?"

" Tracker my sweetie, tracker." mom replied pointing at the necklace on my neck and I groaned.

" Fuc...I mean Fork! How an I forget that." I groaned and mom chuckled " you are not mad?" I ask.

" No, because dad was with you and you listened to me. You didn't go for car racing for three years because I asked you not to. You respected my command and I am happy for it. Twice in a year it is allowed for you but only if dad or your brothers are beside you"

" Okay, mom," I said.

" So, why did you come here?"mom asked with a raised brow.

" To discuss about the case with you and for your help," I said the last word in a whisper.

" Let me guess. You got a secret date planned tonight without your father and brother's acknowledgment?" mom asked and I nodded my head weakly while rubbing my arm nervously.

" Will, you help?" I ask.

" Sure, sweetie and this time I will make sure you go out on a date and have fun." mom replied standing from her hair. She approached me and kissed my cheek " now let's sit on the couch and discuss the case, shall we?" mom asked and I nodded my head.

Emerson Ford:-

" Look's like our woman is planning to go on her date tonight," I tell my twin with a wicked smirk on my face while looking at the live camera footage of mom's office on my laptop.

" Too bad like always we are gonna ruin her date." Edwin replied singing the papers with a crazy smile on his face " but this time we will let her go on the date with the stupid man or the boy and then ruin it by making a scene over there."

" I like what you are thinking man and I am in. After all, we can't let any man have what is ours and only ours to love." I said looking at beautiful Aspen from the camera.
