Cam turned back to me with a knowing look, I knew he understood what was going on as well. It was common knowledge that I took over many smaller packs as soon as I became Alpha, h.ell I even had a reputation for it, even if it got skewed a bit by the survivor's accounts.
“Alpha Jackson of the previous Moonstone Pack, at your service.” I took a step towards her and bowed slightly, imitating a move I’ve seen Lucas do frequently, but I hoped I didn’t look like such a playful d.ick as he did.
Her eyes went wide and she scooted back towards the freezing wall, not even flinching when she made contact she was so afraid.
