The Contract

" What!!!!" Jax blurted out in suprise as he was not expecting this job to be one of a baby sitter he thought he was here to either work for the mafia boss or do something random like killing some rivals of Don Cracker gang or do some dirty works that they didn't want to be connected to them, he was kinda hoping for a one hit type of job but this job would keep him close to the gang

" I can see your suprised expression you know , and believe me I was already expecting it" Don Cracker said with a smile on his dry lips

" pardon me sir, am not trying to be rude right now or try to say anything that might offended you but I just wanted to really ask you something " Jax said

" go on am on all ears?" the Don replied

" why do you want me as your daughter's bodyguard?" Jax asked first cause he felt he had to understand there motives, before even trying to work for them

"obviously for protection, or which other work does a bodyguard has?" Don Cracker answered while given the ' the clearly obvious face'

" ohhh spare me that sir, but look around you sir all I see are protection and any of this guys could definitely protect your daughter and am sure there would be few willing to give there life's to protect her so she does not meet any harms, and i don't think any one wise enough would want to get on your bad side"

" by taking your daughter if I still don't know the motive of why am really working I don't think we would be able to continue this conversation since I won't be prepared to protect her if necessary and that jeopardise my whole Misson as a bodyguard" Jordan said and the mood around the table changed in an instant

Don cracker looked at director X but he behaved like all that was happening had nothing to do with him as he silently drank the coffee that was served to him, he watched all that was happening like a third wheel

Don Cracker realised that he has washed his hands off the matter and won't be getting involved with the issue again after all the only deal he made with him was to bring the young agent

Which he did by making the most talented young agent come straight to his mansion, he directed his full attention back to Jax when he realised that the director won't be helping him out

Don Cracker sigh " for a small looking guy you sure do know alot of thing and ask way too many questions , I guess I have to tell you some little confidencial details then, but you have to sign this contract of working first, I promise I won't go back on my promise and would tell you all you want" Don cracker said

Jax looked at director X and he nodded his head back which just showed just how much trust he had for the director, since he believe he won't bring him to chat so leisurely with an enemy

Jax quickly signed the contract after reading through not bothering to looking at everything

He Has always been the lazy type who always had problems reading things like terms and conditions as he felt they were too long and time consuming

So he always had his lawyer cross check his contracts before signing for any Job back in the days when he was still called the best rookie agent

Before he got suspended and now he basically had no money to pay for his lawyer services again

It took him over fifty seconds to go through all the contract in fast details and signed them really fast and when he was through he passed the contract to the Don who made an hand sign and a middle aged man came out from his

Hiding place as he came forth to come collect the contract that the Don was giving to him " Have Arturo work out the details and send the the final copies over" Don Cracker said and the man nodded before leaving

Jax believed that his director won't try to scam him out of anything and that was why he didn't hesitate to sign the papers at all, he turned and looked at his director who was also looking at him too

Before facing his attention back at his coffee , Jax moved his gaze back to the Don

" Well I guess I can tell you all you need to know now since you are my son" the Don said

" What!!!" Jax asked instantly

" yea I just love seeing your suprised expression, actually am quite suprised that you didn't read the contract details even though you were dealing with a mafia boss, don't you think that is quite risky " the Don asked with his signature smile on

" Well I trust my director enough to believe that he won't try to do me dirty, and I don't even have anything to offer as my old account has being freezed till further notice by the burea agency I work for , and the new one I have has less dollars enough to interest you "

" And am sure you won't want to add any illegal things to the terms incase we take this to court, taking all this into consideration is the reason why I have sign it without bothering to check" Jax replied bluntly

" I really like your honesty and I think I would do you the honour by doing the same" Don Cracker said.

" OK here it comes, Maria is my angel, the love of my life, and the only one that keeps me moving in this world of sin and I swear on my late papás grave that if anything ever happens to her I would bring hell on earth for those responsible, I have always wanted to protect her since when she as born"

" but my little Principessa(princess) won't make it easy for me she has always being a little pain in my neck" Don Cracker said as Jax gave him his full attention still waiting for don Cracker to continue his explanation

" when my wife died it terrified the little angel and she didn't want anything to do with my life so she said she wanted to go back to her mamás place in Italy Venice, at first I was not ok with it but when my mother called I just couldn't say no to mama and sent her back to Italy "

" while I took justice into my own hands and murdered the killers of my wife but before killing them I made sure they watched me killed those they loved am not a wicked man and I don't wipe out alot of Families so I just killed only one person in front of them, the person they loved most "

" some could not even take it and died before I killed them myself " Don Cracker said with a eerily smile that might send the chills into peoples hearts, he might seems to be explaining his grudge but he was indirectly sending warning signals to Jax
