Chapter 6

Ardian slowly opened his eyes. His heart was beating very fast when he faintly heard a familiar voice. Not only that, the smell of her perfume was very familiar to him. He tried to open his eyes to be able to see more clearly who the hell was beside him.

Slowly his eyes opened. Even though he couldn't see it clearly, he knew that Fiona was running to get a nurse because he was already conscious. As time went by, now Ardian could see it clearly. The two of them even looked at each other.

"Doctor Ardian's condition is very good. There is no significant problem. The wounds will be taking care of by us during treatment. After returning home, you can control it again in a period. When the wounds already heal, we will remove the stitches," said a surgeon who came with a nurse to check on Ardian's condition.

"All right, doc, thank you," Fiona said.

The doctor and nurse came out of their room, leaving Ardian and Fiona who looked awkward. Ardian tried to get up but was prevented by Fiona.

"Don't get up yet, Mas. The wound is still wet. Do you need anything? I will go get it for you," Fiona said softly.

Instead of answering Fiona, Ardian pulled Fiona into his embrace. Fiona was shocked and tried to push Ardian away. "I miss you, Fiona," Ardian said while tightening his embrace.

“Mas, don’t...”

"Please…. Let it be like this for a moment. I really miss you."

Ardian looked at Fiona. He stared at Fiona's beautiful face which had been he miss for several days. His hand was on Fiona's face. His two thumbs stroked her cheeks which were already red.

Slowly, Ardian kissed Fiona's lips for the second time. There was a refusal from Fiona but Ardian didn't want to just give up. He continued to kiss Fiona's lips.

Soon, Fiona returned Ardian's kiss. Ardian wanted to jump happily right now because Fiona kissed him back. Both of their lips were bitten and suck at each other. Their head moved to the right and left following the passion that was engulfing them.

Ardian ended their hot kiss. He pressed his forehead against Fiona's forehead. "I Love you, Fiona ..." Ardian whispered with full of love.

"How did you get here?" Ardian asked while he's enjoying his dinner with Fiona fed him.

"This afternoon when I came home to pick Reyhan up from his school, I saw that your maid was very confused and worried. Then I was curious and asked, she said you are fainted and was taken to the hospital and you also needed surgery as soon as possible."

Ardian nodded slightly.

"I tried to help her and trying to call Susi. But her answer makes me sad and disappointed."

"What's her answer?" Ardian asked.

Fiona was confused about telling the truth. He did not want to be labeled as the one who makes Ardian and Susi hate each other.

"Just say it, Fiona. I'm okay with it. I get used to Susi's attitude for all this time."

"Sorry, Mas. I didn't mean to..."

"It's okay Fiona. I know you are not that kind of person. I already know what Susi said. She would not believe that I was lying in the hospital, right?"

Fiona nodded her head.

"It's okay ... The important thing is you are here for me. Thanks, Fiona." Ardian smiled. He really didn't expect Fiona to be so worried about him. While his own wife was very ignorant of his condition right now.

Ardian really fell in love with Fiona. He really fell in love with her. He even did not hesitate to reveal his true feelings to Fiona. The love he had for Fiona was greater than his love for Susi. His love for Susi had been faded a long time ago.

Fiona who came into his life made he could feel love again. The love that he thought were die now grew and bloom again. Fiona was not only beautiful and had a good heart inside, he saw Fiona as a woman who was tough but fragile too.

He really wanted to protect her with all his might. While looking at Fiona who looked shy to him, suddenly someone coming into Ardian's room and interrupted them. Now Fiona looked even more embarrassed. "Fiona, this is my friend, Hendra Wijaya. He is a plastic surgeon." Ardian introducing his best friend.

"Hi, beautiful," Hendra said to Fiona, deliberately teased Ardian, who seemed not to like his presence there.

"Hello. I'm Fiona. Nice to meet you, Doctor Hendra." Fiona replied

"For a beautiful woman like you, you can just call me Hendra." Hendra praises her once again. Fiona's cheeks blushed even more. Ardian was getting annoyed. "What are you doing here?!"

"I pay you a visit. What else you think? I didn't expect to meet such a beautiful woman here. I must be very lucky."

“You, jerk. Just go out. You bother me. " Ardian annoyed. Fiona and Hendra laughed.

"Hm ... Mas, sorry I have to go home. Reyhan is home alone. I am sorry." Ardian looked sad because Fiona had to go home. He really wanted to be accompanied by Fiona, but her son was home alone.

"It's okay. Reyhan needs you. But you will come again tomorrow, right?”

"I don't know. We will see about it."

"I don't want to. You have to promise me that you will come again tomorrow."

"But..."

"Then you can't go home!"

"How come you be like this." Fiona looked disappointed.

"I'm kidding, dear. Just go home. Reyhan's been waiting for you."

"Okay, I gotta go now." Ardian nodded. Fiona also said goodbye to Hendra.

"Don't worry, Mas Ardian will be guarded by me, Mr. Hendra." Hendra teased them. Ardian threw a pillow at Hendra. Made Hendra laughed out loud.

“Ah, now you act as if nothing happened back then. You already know what I mean." Hendra groaned. Ardian smiled.

"Well, I just can say that now my life is more colorful since Fiona come."

“But… you know it's not good. This is so wrong. You already have a wife."

"Yeah, I know. But my heart cannot lie. I feel comfortable close to her. I feel different. I have a wife, but I don't feel like I have her in my life. She never treats me as her husband, she never treats me the way Fiona had done to me."

"That's it. Maybe because you have been neglected by your own wife, that's why you feel that there is something different in you with Fiona."

"I don't know, but maybe you are right. And I am sure that I love Fiona. I really love her." Ardian said firmly.

"Hmm ... Yeah... Yeah... That's what a love bird will say." Hendra said.

"Damn you."

"So what do you want now? I just feel a pity for Fiona. Don't make any promises to her if you will break them in the end."

"Yes, I know. Before I go further, I also want to make sure of my true feelings. I don't want to take any wrong steps that end up hurting her."

"I agree with you. Anyway, whatever steps you're going to take, you have to think about it carefully. Don't let it make you fall and hurt other people."
