I groggily opened my eyes and looked around the room, noticing that Thea had just come out of the shower, and I smiled. She had a black towel wrapped around her body and another wrapped around her head. She looked like a goddess and smelled amazing.
“Good morning, gorgeous.” I croaked before clearing my throat and sitting up from where I had been laying. Thea blushed, and I watched as she swooned over me. Something that happened more and more lately, and it was something that i enjoyed. It should have been strange for me, she was my childhood best friend after all... but I couldn't help but see her in a different way.
After everything that had happened in the past couple of days, no one would believe any of this to be possible, yet here we were... smitten with one another.
