The first gig they have is exhausting! The girls do four sets in one night each night, for three days. They rehearse Everyday at tree before they nap and ready themselves for the nightly performances. Sofia called them on Sunday afternoon to let them know that as soon as they were up Tuesday morning they needed to be on the road because she had them set up at a bar along the way for a one nighter. Mark actually left after their Monday night performance so he could secure sleeping accommodations for Tuesday night after bar close.
They stay busy the entire summer. It's grueling! The girls have done so many bars, and quick fairs. They longest the had stayed was for an entire week for a small county fair gig. At that they actually had fun, and Tony had managed to come don and support them. Jess also noticed that his relationship with Sam was changing. They were getting closer. She was happy for her. Tony was a great guy, and had been helping them write new lyrics to a couple new songs. He's was kind of a poet.
Today the girls found themselves on a shopping spree to find new outfits for stage and make up. Mark and Joe was following around behind carrying packages.
Jess was in a shoe store looking at new kicks with Lee. They were trying on shoes and giggleing when a younger girl approached them.
"Excuse me," She said shyly. "Aren't you the singer from Original Sin?" She asked Jess.
Jessie smiled up at her. "Yes, you know our group?"
"Oh my god yes! You have no idea how much me and my friends love you guys! We follow you on social media. We have watches every you tube performance that there is! Oh, oh can I get a picture with you?' She digs her phone out of her pocket. "My friends are going to freak!" She hands her phone to Lee. "Can you take the picture?"
Lee shrugs and the girl cozy's up to Jessie's side. They smile and Lee takes the picture.
She grabs her phone with a huge grin."Are you performing here tonight?" She ask while she's sends the picture off to her friends.
"As a matter of fact we are doing a charity show tonight at the city park." Lee answers.
"Oh wow. Well I will be there. I'm going to gt all my friends together. I'll see you tonight! " She calls as she runs out of the store her phone pressed to her ear.
"Looks like you have a fan" Lee giggles.
"Hey, She likes the whole group. Not just me."
"Mmum humm." Lee says with a grin.

They set up their instruments on the make up stage in the park and speak for a minute to the Mayor. This performance is free. They decided the fee would be donated to the charity fund that the gathering for. They were doing two sets. With speeches in between. It was due to be over by eleven. The first early night the girls were getting through the whole summer.
This was actually going to be their last one, as classes were starting next week and Mark needed to head back tomorrow. He was on the football team and practice was gearing up for him. Joe was going to stay with them till they got back home. Tony was coming in tomorrow to help out in place of Mark.
Mark said they needed an extra guy just for security. It was going to take about three days to get back home.
Like promised the girl from the mall was front and center with a huge bunch of girls and boys. As soon as Original Sin took the stage the kids started screaming. They hit their cords and the crowd went quiet, Jess started singing in her raspy voice and it was like an Angel sat down. Everyone was enthralled. Over the summer her voice had matured, and became even more raspy and sexy. Her look, the ripped jeans and shredded t-shirts, replaced by skinny jeans and sexy tops that showed a little skin cleavage. All the girls had changed their looks. Hair hung loose and curly, make up sexy and smoky. They were five beautiful girls with totally different looks. Blonde, red, brunet, and jet black hair. Only Harry put chunky high lights in her hair. In purple.
It was drawing to a close. The last performance of the summer. They were headed home the school. Three months flew by and they were tired, but giddy. Because when they got back to the motel Sofia called Mark with news. So sitting at the table in His and Harry'e room eating pizza the put the phone on speaker and called Sofia so the girls could hear the news.
"Hi girls!" Sofia's voice came over the line. Everyone greeted her. "I have exciting news!" She yelled into the phone. "While you were at that fair a record label rep was there too. His was there to sign that single artist that went on a couple times after you guys. Anyway, That guy flaked and the rep wants a meeting with you girls in New York next week. He wants you to cut a record and get it out into the market for testing. He's been watching the performance on you tube and social media sited and he says the label is really interested. They want to sign you for a contract. I know Mark needs to get back for classes, so I've booked us tickets and motel and I'm going with you. We may be on our way girls! An actual music contract!"
"But Sofia, we are going to school too!" Vic pointed out.
"Yes, I know, and I've already planned on that. You can still cut a record and do school. You just won't be able to go on tour right away, but weekend gigs in prominent venues can be done. And as all of you are getting into the music program at the school, they can bend the rules a bit for actual performers. It will shine a light on the school. Trust me, free publicity is always welcome!"
The girls were ecstatic! As soon as they hung up the phone they erupted into dancing and hugging and laughing.
"Here we GO!" Sam yelled.
