“I could ask you the same thing," I spat back. “I'm starting to wonder if you're worth all the trouble you're causing." “Then stop coming after me and just let me escape," I said, huffing in annoyance. With a shake of his head, he stepped forward. I backed up instinctively. “I'm not letting you go.
