Even though the town was of reasonable size and the unknown enemy couldn’t attack them as openly without attracting attention, Cahil and Brigida knew all too well how many ways there were to kill people in the heart of a town. The enemy would certainly come looking for them here; it would be wise to get as far away as possible.
