I never took myself to be a patient man. And I never gave anyone the impression of being okay with waiting.
So when Lisa didn’t come down for breakfast at the time I gave, I couldn’t sit around and wait for her.
If I had to drag her, half dressed, then that is what I’ll do. Next time, she’ll make sure she gets herself ready on time.
What I didn’t expect her to be was fully naked. I mean, I hadn’t thought she would be naked when I barged into the bathroom. I know how it sounded. She was in the bathroom. What did I expect her to be doing?
Clearly, I didn’t think it through. Because the moment I pushed the door open, I became tongue tied and I regretted my decision of walking in just then.
