Magenta Town

“I told you guys, I am not a poacher. You can check my belongings.” I said but the soldiers did not bother on doing so. I am getting annoyed already. Why does bad luck keep on following me? 

After a few minutes of being dragged by the soldiers, we arrived at a small town. The place was bustling with people and all sorts of races. There are visitors like fairies, werewolves and a whole bunch of other creatures wandering around the town. Then, all of a sudden, I received a notification. 

[You have discovered Magenta Town]

Magenta Town? Oh, I remember from the beta test. After choosing your class, you will be teleported to a starter town. Depending on which country you chose, each has a beginner town. The Sanctuary is divided into five countries which are Topaz Kingdom, Aquamarine Manor, Ruby Domain, Sapphire State and Diamond County. When the beta test was released, there was a rumor that the game has a sixth country, and you need to undergo a special quest to unlock it. Well, no one knows about how to do it and after the beta test, it remained as a rumor. 

Magenta Town is part of the Topaz Kingdom. The patron saint of the Topaz Kingdom is Moira, the Earthen Goddess. So, if I am here, I believe my powers would be earth attributes. What a joke. Honestly, I wanted to be in Ruby Domain with flashy explosions, or with Diamond County where you can fire light beams. Well, there is nothing I can do now. Damn this crappy bad luck. 

The soldiers kept on dragging me and the people around gathered us. They must be so curious about me. I felt a bit shy after being watched by a lot of people. After a few minutes, we arrived at the center of Magenta Town. There was a man standing there, wearing flashy clothes. He was wearing baggy pants, and was holding a cane. Must be some person with a high status. 

“Sir, we caught one of the poachers.” The soldier said proudly. 

“I told you I am not a poacher.” I said. The soldier smacked my head all of a sudden. What’s the problem with this soldier? 

The man wearing baggy pants approached us and slowly examined me. He placed his hands and cupped my face and raised it. What is this man planning to do? 

“Release him, you stupid soldiers!” The man said angrily. 

“What? But we caught him coming outside from the cave.” One soldier said. 

“So are you not going to follow my orders? Also, did you check properly? Did you check his belongings? Does he have the tools for stealing? Also, there was a poster about the poacher  right? His face was far different from the wanted list.” The baggy pants man shouted. 

The soldiers hurriedly released me and bowed their heads towards me. They kept on apologizing to me. The shoulders were achy because of what they did. 

“I am really sorry about that for confusing you for some criminal. By the way, my name is Cosco, the acting mayor of Magenta Town.” The man said and bowed his head. 

Cosco? What a weird name.
