“Sophia?” I snapped back to my work. Lily called out for me to send the order for table 1. I was on my way when I realized that it’s the scary man’s table. My feet became heavier as I went closer and avoided any eye contact with the people around the table. Still, I remained calm and placed their orders on the table.
“How are you all, gentlemen? Here’s your order, please enjoy!” I turned away as soon as possible but someone stopped me.
“Wait,” I looked back and realized it’s the scary man calling me. I froze on the spot, this time I felt the presence of something cold and terrifying.
“Have we met before?” the man asked. I forced a smile on my face despite feeling the cold sweat forming on my forehead.
“I’m afraid this is the first time seeing you sir, must be someone else?” I answere
