Bella's p.o.v:

Finally I see the light coming towards me, slowly I open my eyes to be met with the lights of my hospital room.

Groaning from the massive pain shooting through my head, I reach my hands up to feel a lace fabric around my head.

Sighing, I let my hands drop down to my side and look around. Everything's all white. If you ask me it looks kinda scary, like I'm in a mental hospital or something.

I hear the door knob juggle and opens to reveal my best friend Kuname. Smiling, I let out a joyful tear at the sight of being alive, just to see the ones I love.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you before Kuname " I truthfully speak.

"It's okay, Bells, as long as I have you with me, I'm totally okay" he cheerful replies, smiling like a lunatic. His smile drops just as fast as it appears and its replaced with seriousness. He slowly walks over to the hospital bed and sits down on the edge, taking my cold and white hands and kissing them, before dropping them and looking into my eyes.

"Tell me, Exactly what Jaron did to you" he says with a fearful glare. I've never seen him like this. Slowly swallowing the lump that's formed in my throat.

"H-He, uh" I was at a lost for words. Looking away I answer him with hurt placed in my voice. I sigh, might as Well get this over with.

"Me-and-Jaron-are-mates-and-he-slept-with-Holly-because-I-said-no-to-when-he-asked-me-to-be-his-girlfriend" I rush out. Looking at his face now.

"Oh, I never k-knew" he says looking away, but not before I see the sadden look on his face.

What's wrong with him?

"Hey?" I slowly take his hands in mines. "Are you Alright?" I say sincerely. He looks up into my eyes with hope, but then looks away.

"Yea I'm fine" he silently answers.

"Stop lying to me Kuname, just tell me already! " I yell frustratingly.

He snaps his eyes up to me and then looks away again. Standing up and leaving the hospital room, slamming the door closed.

The f**k is his problem, is all I get to say before he comes back and and takes my face into his hands, looking me into the eyes. Breathing heavily.

"I'm sorry, but I can't pretend to be gay for you... I love you Bella" he says as he leans in. I'm very shocked so I didn't respond to his lips.

He starts to nibble on my bottom lip for access, Which I denied. I slowly raise my hand and connect my hand with his face.

He steps back holding his redden cheek. He blushes then walks out of the room, leaving me to my wondering thoughts.

I can't believe my best friend just kissed me. He had feelings for me. No wonder why he was so mad. He cared for me when Jaron didn't. I was too blind to see but, I felt the tingle when he kissed me.

But I thought only mates got tingles when they physically touch. I know this might sound crazy, but I think fate and the moon goddess has given me a second try to happiness.

It all makes sense now. No wonder why I saw the hope in his eyes, he was hoping I would accept him.
