Chapter 7
Since both Rami and Felix were still exhausted, they put their pants back on and sat down with Blake to play a few games of Quantum. It proved to be an equally heated experience by the end of the first game as the threats between Blake and Felix escalated when they blocked each other’s strategies. During the second game, however, Rami had picked up his own strategies and allowed Blake and Felix to fight while he snuck around and captured planets for himself. That spurred an alliance between Blake and Felix, who teamed up to take him out in the third game before Felix enacted a quick betrayal that led to his victory.
“How could I forget you had a piece there?” Blake exclaimed, fluffing up his hair in frustration.
“You forgot it was there because I wanted you to forget.” Felix g
