The whole day today was amazing. From the spa to shopping and just getting to spend the day with my best friend. It had been a while since I got to spend a day with Skyler, and it was much needed. For both of us.
Skyler did my hair in a loose updo and did my makeup beautifully. When I slipped into my dress and looked in the mirror one more time, I couldn't believe I was about to go into public like this. One pull of a string and this dress would fall off.
But Skyler kept hyping me up and telling me how good I looked. That made me feel confident, sexy and just ready for whatever tonight brought. As we headed downstairs, I looked at the little crowd that was waiting for us but didn't see Donovan, or Rex for that matter.
