Rex's POV
I was in a playful mood, and after that stunt Zadie played in the car, I felt like getting her all riled up before walking away was good payback, letting her fester by giving her a little show in the shower. I knew she wouldn't see anything other than my torso. I glanced out into my room a few times, and just as I'd hoped, she was watching.
I was in the shower for all of five minutes, but when I came out, Zadie was fast asleep on my bed. I can't say I wasn't disappointed, but she looked so beautiful lying there. I couldn't help the smile that spread across my face. She was perfect. And she was mine. I'm looking forward to the day she knows that for certain.
But for now, I'll take what I can get, and what I get is a sleeping Zadie in my bed. I was more than happy to just lay
