Sliding in behind the driver's seat, I started the car and headed towards our pack. "Sorry, Skyler. Looks like you're coming home with us tonight. We need to leave their territory."
"Those are the same guys from the restaurant before we had to rush to leave. I take it they are also wolves?" Slamming on the brakes, a little harder than I should have, I turned to look at her. "What do you mean also... wolves?" I asked her.
"Zadie told me a long time ago what she is. You guys are obviously also wearwolves. I'm assuming those guys were wolves from the local pack, territorial and want members of another pack off their land. It's fine. I'd feel much safer with you guys anyway than going back home without Zadie."
