Chapter 21: The GardenerI didn’t sleep for very long, though. Couldn’t. Maybe a half hour. No longer. Things rushed through my headachy skull that I couldn’t organize. Time to put my life in order and shake off the chaos caused by Fell Grind. Zac and Buck had left Chester House. Fortunately, they closed the front door on departure. I did find two dirty coffee mugs in the kitchen sink. Because my head throbbed, I fetched two Tylenol from the upstairs bathroom. While standing in front of the mirror I didn’t see a pin prink in my neck from Fell’s needle attack. Nothing there. No bloody dot or mark. Nothing.
