Chapter 5Seb ducked his head in the barrel of water behind the animal tents, holding his breath as long as possible to enjoy the cool against his scalp. Droplets went flying when he finally pulled out, soaking his collar even though he’d opened it as soon as he’d left his dais, but the damp was a relief after the hot stickiness of the day.
