Many years ago, before mankind was even created. A prophecy was written in the stars. In this sacred prophecy a bond of a mortal and an immortal is said to happen in the next thousands of years.

This bond would create peace and tranquility between Gods and mortals.

But as always...peace cannot be achieved without a hint of pain, sacrifice, death and love.

Or....

PROLOGUE
ᴾᴿᴼᴸᴼᴳᵁᴱ " There was once a prophecy written in the stars... Saying how a daughter of Eve shall love a God of war. It is said that this bond shall stop all the immortal wars... But the price to pay for peace would cause hearts to char. Before the light meets dark there will be a series of hardships... The God will refuse to utter her name on his immortal lips. Until such time, lives become too narrow... And the God shall live life in an eternity of sorrow. " " What the Hades is that supposed to mean?" The God questioned angrily, his voice boomed across the golden halls making the other celestial beings around him quiver in fear. Zeus sighed in irritation, his golden eyes landing in the furious God. " Language son! The oracle has given us the prophecy. We must-" " Prophecy?" The God scoffed. "That was just a stupid rhyming poem, I would never fall for a mere mortal." " But son this-" " I said no father!" Ares barked in anger. "I will not bend my knees for any stupid mortal woman. I am a God! And I have lived perfectly without a wife, this woman would not make a difference!" He argued. " Ares you need to understand-" The God of war growled, his face red from anger. " No! I refuse to believe in this stupid prophecy. I'm sorry father, but this is all horse s**t-" " What did my horses ever do to you?" Poseidon mused, butting into the conversation between his brother and nephew. " Now is not the time uncle," Ares sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration. He was itching to start a war at this very moment. He needed to feel the blood on his fingertips. It was like a drug for him, his version of ecstasy. " You haven't even met her yet, how are you sure she is as vile and stupid as you think she is?", Zeus reasoned out, his cheek resting on his palm. The God of lightning was irritated beyond belief, however, he has no reason to judge the choices of the God of war for he himself did not want some mortal to be betrothed to his son. But fate made a choice, and that choice can not be swayed. Ares chuckled humorlessly. " All mortals are the same, they all want power, they all will wage wars no matter how hard you try to stop them. They are self absorbed people who want nothing but fame and glory!" He spat in disgust. " And are you not the same?" Hera questioned. " We Gods are self absorbed, we want power, riches. And wanting to wage wars is funny coming from the God of War himself. How different are we from those mortals?" Ares glared at her furiously. " We are far more great than them. I will not be compared to those...low lives. And like you said- I am the God of war and I will destroy anything that comes in my way. Including that stupid mortal girl!" He snapped before storming out of Olympus, his footsteps resembling thunder. Zeus sighed, agitated at his son's unruly behavior. Hera rubbed his back as an attempt to cool him down. " He'll learn to love her Zeus, men are all the same when it comes to women, Ares is no different. " Zeus sighed as he plopped himself on his golden throne, drained from trying to reason out with his son. " I do hope so...Our futures lies in his hands Hera...I hope he makes the right decision." Hera gives him a small smile, " He will, my love." " He has no choice."
