#46 The Woman I Love

2363 Words

Ivan's POV It had been a week since the encounter and the day when Mia finally confessed her feelings for me. She never left my side in the hospital, taking care of me. I had never seen this soft side of Mia. She had always been this rough and tough girl with bitter words. So, when she went as far as to avoid confrontations with my family, take care of my dressings, foam bath, food, medicines, and exercises, I just felt like I was falling in love with her all over again. The only thing that had troubled me for a while was Oliver. But that duck-head never returned to show his face after the night. The next morning, Zenia informed us that Oliver had to leave to attend to some urgent work. He didn't even check the hotel. It was such a relief to get rid of that nuisance without doing much.
