13 THE MORNING OF the fashion show dawned with a drenching downpour. Fianna stood at the window with a cup of hot tea, watching sheets of rain sluicing across the window pane. In the sun-loving city of Los Angeles, many people wouldn’t go out because of the rain, but in Ireland, rain was hardly an excuse. She doubted it would deter attendance.
