Emily's pov When I opened my eyes, the light was so intense it almost blinded me. I used my right hand to shield my eyes, and I looked around, scanning my surroundings. I was in a clearing; it was spring, and the air smelled like sun, fresh grass, and wildflowers. I was sitting on a soft red blanket, next to a blue picnic basket full of Tupperwares. I searched through them and found a taco.  Yay. Snack.  The taco tasted like heaven, and the more I ate it, the hungrier I got. "Come on!" I heard Xavier screaming, his voice full of laughter and happiness. "Let's go show mom what we just found!" The air filled with a sound that instantly warmed my heart: the joyful laughter of a child, clear as a tinker. I couldn't hold back a smile: I already knew I would never forget that sound. "Momm
