Chapter Eleven “Up, Alexa,” Will said. He tugged on her leash. “Up. We’re almost there.” Alexa sat up and yawned. She hadn’t gotten a lot of sleep last night. She must have dozed off. She slid off of the thin mattress she’d been lying on to the edge of the little flatbed trailer that the mattress in turn had been lying on. Once she got that far she had to wait for her master to help her down onto the ground. Having your hands cuffed behind you limited what you could do.
