CHAPTER EIGHTEEN The tiny portal Oliver had managed to create squeezed and squished him as he traveled through it. He had no idea where it would lead him to. It was his first portal. If he made it out the other end alive it would nothing short of a miracle. Suddenly, he felt himself catapult out the other end. He hit the ground with a bump. It was a harder landing than any he’d ever had from portal travel before, and he blamed it on his undeveloped, fledgling powers.
