Once coach dismissed us, I made my way back to Zev, who was smirking at me. “What are you looking at?” I asked Zev. He was playing with something in his hands. “You,” he replied casually. He was twirling around in his hands a pair of magnets. I took a seat right next to him with our shoulders touching. Zev began asking me questions about the last half of my day, making jokes about me not making any friends. “How long have you known Nate and Micah?” I asked. “Our families go way back,” he replied.
