Chapter 20The next morning, Kasim ordered everyone back to the main camp. While Nyles was sorry to leave the oasis, if it was safer…then he was happy to return there.
To his delight, once they were settled, Jewel came to his tent and Nyles took him in a tender embrace.
“I can remain here for the next few hours.” Jewel rubbed his cheek along Nyles’s. “And Kasim says that so long as neither of us speak of it, we may do more than just touch.” He raised a hand and lightly touched Nyles’s face. “Make love to me?”
