Chapter 11The next morning, Nyles was woken by one of the king’s many servants bringing him a cup of mint tea. In broken English, the servant made it clear that there was no rush to rise and break his fast. Whenever he chose to rise, food would be prepared for him. As tempting as it was to lie abed for a while, Nyles didn’t want to lose any time he might get to spend with Jewel.
