I cough to interrupt them politely. I am unsure of the message Selene is attempting to convey to Magnus.
They both turned to face me, their expressions filled with confusion. Magnus’ eyes were filled with concern as he attempted to approach me, but Selene quickly intervened by grabbing his hand.
“She killed Celeste,” Selene said. I got my eyes widened, and I gulped in shock.
