“What happened to Amara?” I asked Selene as I followed her to her chamber.
She turned around to face me. “Why are you asking me about it? I don’t know what you are talking about,” she responded rudely. I have no expectations from her whatsoever.
“I can’t believe you did it, Selene. Did you permit Zephyrus to issue that command?” I asked her a question, causing her to wince in pain as I unintentionally tugged on her arm, resulting in the glass she was holding slipping from her grasp and falling to the ground.
