Aiden´s POV:
Last night was ... surreal, I think is the word I´m looking for. After Hailey got over her surprise, she completely blossomed.
From the day she had left the castle, two months ago, up to the phone call with Jared last week, I couldn't help but think of her and how much I'd miss her. Seth had pointed out, on several occasions, that if I missed her that much, I should call her to meet up.
We did call and text each other, but asking her to meet felt selfish. She'd told me she'd started therapy to accommodate the demons of her past, and I didn't want to put new pressure on her.
The moment she wrapped her body around me, like a monkey hanging from it's mother, was the best feeling of welcome ever.
After the necessary introduction round, we sat down at the table to eat pizza.
