What just happened?
Suddenly, everything made so much sense.
I always thought my father was just too busy to spend time with his family. The stress of being Alpha King brought him to the brink of a slump. However, after hearing everything that had just been said, I realized he just didn't give a damn about my mom.
After all, my grandfather had forced him to give up everything for the greater good. In the name of the kingdom.
My existence didn't arise from love, but from an agreement in a contract. Not to mention that it would have been only a fraction of the difference if I hadn't even existed. The funny thing was, I wasn't even mad at my dad.
