Hazel POV
His voice rang in my ears like a siren call, my legs wobbled right on the spot and I had to clutch on the railings for support.
"I gladly agreed with his suggestion– besides you started it." The voice spoke in my head. I was gnashing my teeth at the voice in my head. That damn slutty voice in my head, I contemplated for a while, not knowing what to say. I slowly turned back and decided to play dumb.
"I'm very sorry Alpha, it seems you are misunderstood me, I didn't meant it… that way."
"What way?" he asked, his blue eyes focused on me and I gulped nervously. He is such a witty and sly alpha, if I only knew that my words would bite back at me, I would have hold my tongue. If only I hadn't been childish earlier and meant my own business. Gosh Hazel, think! Think fast.
