It had been a month since she had started working at Bernard Hansen’s office as his Executive Assistant. Eleanor felt like she was drowning in work and she had no idea how she was going to get ahead of it.
Bernard’s assistant, Ali, eyed Eleanor when she went in the direction of the dining hall. She appeared out of breath and in haste. On the way, she waved at him and then proceeded towards the hall.
As she entered the dining hall, she spotted the familiar file of a woman named Emily Gerald. Frowning, she grabbed the file and wondered why Bernard Hansen was obsessed with investing in her company. According to his opinion, she was a gifted entrepreneur and was passionate about her company. Taking the file with her, Eleanor went to Bernard’s office.
