Beta Dusty pov

When we landed and got off the plane, we had no way to tell what to do next, we smelled different packs in the airport. They were coming and going my guess they were leaving and coming for meetings. They did not care if we were here, they probably thought we were here for a meeting too. we went to rent a car i told the guy we wanted to rent the car for a few months we were here on business, he rolled his eyes, i guess he was used to things like this, the car he gave us was a dodge ford, black and was pretty nice, nice car my mate had said, i chuckled,

“Just you wait until you get inside it drives pretty good to,” we got inside the car and drove off, but Adam was pissed, i knew that scent, it was Callie, oh s**t, she rented this car and Adam could smell her scent, i told him to calm down he can not go crazy right now, lets just find her talk to her and she might just come home with us, but you can not just find her and go head on, you threw her out remember she is hurt, and she would do anything to keep her child safe, i knew that was a mistake right when it came out of my mouth, he roared,

“Its just not her child, that child is mine as well, and i will bring them both home.” i didn't say anything after that, i knew better, he was already angry i didn't need my head knocked off my shoulders,

Cody pov

i knew i wanted to sleep in this morning, i was so tired from work, my wolf Drummer said to me,

“Hell no, are mate will be up in a few minutes, get your ass up and going so she will bump into us when she comes out of her room.” i chuckled getting up from bed getting into the shower dried off god dressed, i cracked my door just a little so i will know when she comes out of her room,

Callie pov

I awoke because Lita kept pacing back and forth in my head, she was whimpering and pacing, i asked her,

“Girl, can a woman sleep around here?” she whimpered once more getting up pacing, fine fine i am up, im up,

“mate, mate is here waiting for us Callie, we need to find him” i was wondering mate, i reached for my neck my fingers ran over the once now scared up mark on my neck, it was going away fast,

“Lita, that is long gone, he tossed us to the side, he is not and will not find us,”

she shook her head. It looked so cute when she did that. looking over at my daughter she was still sleeping, well, i am already awake, getting out of bed i walked to the bathroom to do my business, then took a quick shower, dried off and got dressed, walked out of the bathroom into the bedroom, Ivory was sitting up and bed looking around rubbing her eyes yawning, i set on the bed putting her on my lap,

“Did you sleep, girl , my baby girl?” i pulled her to me hugging her softly, kissing the top of her head,

“Yes mommy, i'm hungry, can I have some pancakes if berries on it?”

“of course honey, lets get your dressed, i helped her get dressed, she wanted to wear a pretty blue dress today, i did her hair in pigtails and helped her with her shoes, i held onto her hand as we walked out the bedroom door i almost bumped into someone, he grabbed me so i wouldn't trip, I felt the tingles of the mate bond, oh s**t i was thinking to myself, this isn't the time right now, i slowly looked up into this man's eyes, he had the prettiest dark green eyes, his hair was in a ponytail, he stood at about 5.9 and was tan, he had a tattoo around his neck, he held me growling mate mine, my whole body shivered, i leaned into his ear and said the same thing, but told him right now is not the time, my daughter was pulling on my shirt,

“Mommy, mommy im hungryyyyyy,”

“Okay honey lets go find the kitchen so we can get those pancakes with those berries for you,” the man held my other hand, “my name is Cody, what is yours he had asked me.”

Callie, my name is Callie, do you know where the kitchen is, my daughter is hungry.” he looked down at Ivory smiling, “Of course come on follow me, I followed him down a long hallway, then turned into a huge kitchen, it didn't surprise me one bit it had five stoves in there, with the same amount of deep freezers and refrigerators, in the middle was a long beautiful white marble counter, many people were running around trying to get everything done, he walked us out through another door into a huge dining hall, people where already in the hall, they where lined up waiting for their turn to pile on their plates, there where many long tables with chairs, with juice, milk, and other drinks on each table we walked to the line and waited for our turn, but when they saw me with my daughter they moved out of the way, i was surprised they didn't have to do that, it was very kind of them, i thanked them so much, we hurried to gather things on her plate, ill just eat off her plate, i put pancakes berries grits and some eggs on her plate, i got two glasses off the table and went to sit down, Cody set beside us i held my daughter on my lap as we ate, she gobbled down her pancakes with her berries, i ate the grits and the eggs, with some bacon, when Ivory was done eatting she set on my lap looking around smiling at people that set down to eat, other kids came over to see her, they wanted her to play with them,

“Mommy mommy can i pleaseeee go play with them?” i giggled at my daughter

‘Of course honey go play, but be careful and stay away from the woods okay,”

‘Okay mommy, she got down off my lap and went to play with the kids, i had a worried look on my face, Cody smiled holding my hand,

‘Don’t worry she will be fine, there going to the inside playground since its a little chilly this morning, come i'll show you,” i nodded grabbing the plate putting it in the kitchen with my glass, he took me out of the house, he took me to a building and he wa right it was a little chilly, there where widows so we could look inside, i saw her with some pups playing on a small slide, she was laughing as she slide down the slide, i was thinking to myself, i guess she will be alright,

“when they get done playing the guards will take them back to their parents, she's very well protective no worries okay. come on lets talk and get to know each other a little more, nodding i followed him to a bench underneath a large oak tree, we talked for hours i had told him who her father was and what had happen, he doesn't know he has a child, and im keeping it that way, he had chose who he wanted to be with, so let him be with her and she can have his pups he will have children, just not this one, she is my daughter,”

‘Callie, don’t worry, i will be her father, i will take care of her like she is my own, i promise Callie,” i think this man meant well, i knew he was my true mate but i can't just let anyone just walk into my daughter life, i don't want her confused about anything, so i told him this,

‘You can introduce yourself to her, but do not tell her your her father, i do not want her confused okay, I will not lie to my daughter, let her warm up to you, let her make her own mind up of she wants to call you her dad,” he nodded, as we watched a few deer run through the woods, there where rabbits eating on the other side of the yard, it made me wonder just a moment where Adam was at this time of day, was he happy, what ever he was doing i hope he was,
