Adam pov

i went into my old room and closed the door i fell on the floor feeling all the pain that rejection does to you, i wanted no one to see me so weak right now, i was falling inlove with that woman, i was starting to trust her and she did this to me, when the pain was gone, i got up from the floor went to my office and called Birdie and Crane, letting them know what had happen over the years she was here, Birdie told me she was surprised it lasted that long, she then told me what happened to her other mates, i could only shake my head and told her that i wished i knew before anything had happened, she was gone now, and probably looking for revenge, Birdie and Crane agreed, she will be back here in a few hours letting us know everything that did not happen there but it happened to her, we will let you know what had been said when she gets here, we hung the phone up, and i called my Beta Dusty, he came running into the office when he felt the pain i was still going through he ran over to me asking if i was okay,

“Do me a favor Dusty, i want you to track down Callie when you find her do not approach her, she might run, find out her address and give this to her,

Dusty picked up the letter and read it,

You are here by wanted back at the Back at the Black oval pack right away, there is business that needs to be taken care of, you have a week to respond,

in the middle of the letter was Adams stamp, Dusty folded the letter up and placed it in the envelope,

“Dude, are you sure you are wanting to do this, once we find out where she is she might run, you told her not to return, what do you think she might do?”

Shaking my head i had no idea what i would do, i sighed as i set down,

“I don’t know what she would do when we find out where she is, but you must find her Dusty, if possible put this on her door, so it will be the first thing she see's when she goes up to her house, i need to see her, even if it is to know that she is okay,”

Dusty nodded he took the letter, he knew a few people that he could count on, we will start in Georgia then head on down to Tennessee if she's not there then we will head to Ohio she will be found Adam, i promise she will be,

Dusty pov

When Adam called me in his office, i knew something was off by the tone of the link, i ran into the room he was in sitting down, he looked like he was in pain but he covered it up, we all heard the screams and the rejection we all felt it we never liked Nikki but we knew Adam loved her or was trying to, we often wondered how Callie was, we had missed that woman, He asked me to find her to give her this letter, i knew a few people that were trackers good trackers they would find her in a few days, so i called them up they told me they would meet me on the human side of town, so i sped off to meet them, I told them what needed to be done, when she is found do not approce her, she might run so don’t do that, just let me know and i will tape this letter to her door, that's all that needs to be done is that clear?” they both nodded and took off, we went to Gorgia first we smelled her scent in that town, but it was very faint, we asked around at a few shops, but we came up empty handed, we even asked a few wolfs, they said they knew of a beautiful lady that was on her own, she left four months ago but we don’t know were, she kept to herself and stayed out of trouble, so we had left her alone” the next town we went to was Tennessee, we smelled her there as well, but when we asked around she had been gone for months, this woman was way ahead of us, where could she be, i knew i couldn't stop looking for her, Ohio here we come,

Callie pov

i had finally found a place i might be able to stay, it was in Ohio lucky for me there were no wolves that lived close enough to me to tell i was here, i found a job just four minutes away from my small house, my daughter had a nana that could take care of her while i worked, my little baby girl was growing so fast, Ivory was two now, and she was very smart, i knew when she turned sixteen she will start hearing her wolf, when she turns seventeen she will shift her first shift, i wanted to teach her so much, in a few months she will be three, i didn't want any wolves around her to scare her, so i kept her hidden away, careful not to go into town that much with her, she was mine, i had her not anyone else, i would die protecting her if i had to, she looked just liked Adam, she had his eyes and his dark hair, she even had his nose, it was so cute at times, i swear when she gets upset she looks just like him, i tired not to let it bother me, he was gone out of my life now, and i had to keep her safe from him, if he ever found out he would either take her from me or try and kill her and neither is going to happen, the nana came to watch her while i was at work, it was a small clothing store, and all i had to do was make sure the clothes were folded and neatly put away on the shelves it was a easy job, but when the kids came around they liked to throw the clothes all around the store just to see me pick them up, fold them and put them back up, they would laugh and walk out of the store, if they were older, i would shift and scare the hell out of them, one day i felt like i was being watched, i got really nevours, i haven’t felt like that in a very long time, when closing time i hurried to clean, mop, and then clock out, when i walked out side from the store, Lita started growling,

‘What is it Lita, what's wrong?” she growled again pacing back and forth,

“We need to go home check on pup, we are being watched Callie,”

i ran to my car, i traded it in for a dodge, turned it on and sped off, i got to my house when i got to the door i saw something taped on the door. I was scared now, who knew I lived here? no one knew, i took the letter off the door and opened it to read it, my heart dropped as i read what was on the letter,

I ripped the letter up threw it in the trash, i ran inside the house picked my daughter up, told the nana i didn't need her anymore i was leaving, i packed what i could of Ivorys and mine tossed it in the car and sped off to wherever that was far away, what did Adam want? did he know about his child, did he want to take her away from me? no hell no, he will never get her. i looked at the map closed my eyes at the red light and pointed at the map, opened my eyes and saw the name my finger picked, London here i come, i called the airport booked a flight for one adult and one child, i got here on time i left the car on the side of the road, i ran into the large building got my tickets then hurried to get on the plan and waited for it to take off, i could not breath until this plan was in the sky, this time they will not find me, i won't let them find us little Ivory, you will always be safe with me baby girl, i will never let anyone ever hurt you i promise,

“But, but,, but,,, mommy, what are we running from,,you seem so scared mommyyyy,”
