After only a single day, Shackleton Fitz IV already missed the miserable weather of Oymyakon. The constant storms of wind, rain and snow pelting down on the Foreign Service Academy, buildings and cadets both, so perfectly matched his mood over the past months, it felt wrong to be anywhere else. It had felt wrong being with his mother in their townhouse on the capital world of Jorda. The warm, bright sun and plethora of cultural activities and especially his mother"s entire glowing personality had jarred badly against his own miserableness.
