The second round was also over. Although the first round had brought mayhem, the second one proved to be a different one. None of the participants was panicking anymore. Instead, we all seemed to make peace with our situation.
The contestants knew that disrupting the environment due to fear wouldn’t help us. While the game meant death for all and survival for one, the outer world meant doom for all of us. Hence we all were willing to take a chance in the game itself rather than ending the game. Still, some harboured different opinions.
“Did you ever consider quitting the game?” questioned Elijah while looking around for Holly.
I also looked in a different direction for her while responding, “Every day, I think about it. However, that’s not an option for us anymore.”
