Thank you so much to everyone who expressed concern and well wishes towards my family and me. For those unaware, my mother had a medical emergency. Outside of writing, I am a medical doctor and I had reason to believe she had a Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) which is basically a clot in the leg. Unfortunately, a doppler ultrasound confirmed that she really did have a DVT and the situation worsened quickly, leading to a bilateral Pulmonary Embolism, meaning there were two clots in her lungs. This all led to us finding out that she has Covid-19 Pneumonia. My Dad and I are her primary contacts so we got swabbed (tested). My Dad and I also have Covid-19.
