“MATE!” he growled loudly while stalking towards her.
“Oh no, you don’t!” Gabriella said, holding up her hand as Dominic kept taking slow deliberate steps in her direction.
“I’ve deliberately kept my scent hidden, knowing all this time you were my mate so that I could see what kind of man you were. And let me tell you, I did not like what I saw. At all.” Gabriella held up a finger, as she kept stepping backward.
She had felt terrible most of the time, seeing him fool around like that. Terrible and angry.
“I was just passing time. They meant nothing.” He kept stalking closer to her.
“I-I’m going to reject you,” Gabriella whispered, her back hitting a tree. She felt her resolve crumbling with each step Dominic took towards her.
