It had been a few days since Mackenzie had left and Tony, who had hoped things would get back to normal, was feeling worse.
The ache in his chest was getting worse instead of better and his wolf, Apollo, who had receded after the rejection, was now back. But instead of being his quiet self, he had been pacing around restlessly inside of Tony’s mind. Something felt wrong.
What was even worse was that Tony couldn’t seem to be able to stand Stacy anymore. Even the sound of her voice was getting on his nerves. He had been trying to avoid her for the last three days.
It was not easy. She seemed to be around every corner, planning her Luna ceremony, always asking Tony for input.
